Kennersley Park Retirement Complex has 154 cottages consisting of:
- 104 x 2-Bedroom Cottages
- 27 x 1-Bedroom Cottages
- 20 x Flatlets
- 3 x Apartments
The Cottages are sold under a Life Right’s Model for Independent Living for persons 60 years of age and over.
Cottage applications are open from 2030 onwards
The monthly levy covers administration, asset depreciation, lawn, maintenance and repair services, 24-hour security guards and community patrol services, insurance, municipal charges, refuge removal and a cottage clinic. It does not cover electricity usage.
Apartments are designed for an extra supportive independent lifestyle and the levies include in additional to the above electricity, twice weekly housekeeping, daily laundry of which draperies will be done every 6-months, access to WIFI services limited to OCCUPANT devices only and Blister Packs for Medicine and Medicine supervision.
The complex offers a frail care facility, sick bay services, daily meals, a library, in-house gym, hairdresser amenities as well as a recreational centre, a hall and chapel services. Weekly shopping trips are available as well as transport for medical appointments. Various recreational activities and events are scheduled daily.
